About HCI Design ClubThe Human Computer Interaction Design Club at Indiana University - Bloomington gets together every other week to go through the entire design process in an hour. Every once in a while we focus on a particular part of the design process for the entire session. Each design task is tackled in teams of three-to-four and includes research, concept generation, prototyping, and usability testing. After the process is completed we critique each design, as well as the team's design process. Our mission is to think boldly, and hone our design process skills by attempting to provide solutions to unique design problems. Alumni, faculty, and students are encouraged to attend. This club was reinstated by Emily Allen and Binaebi Akah in January 2009. To keep up with our progress, check out our Wordpress blog! |
