(June 15, 2009) Congratulations to Feixing Tuang and Yujia Zhao on advancing to the worldwide finals of Microsoft's Imagine Cup 2009 design competition with their design of a community-based household items reuse platform. They will compete as one of the six finalists in Cairo, Egypt.
(June 9, 2009) Rajasee Rege, Feixing Tuang, Jenny Allen, Sakshi Gupta, and Vince Diaz presented their design "GoGrocery: Community-based transportation to support a sustainable lifestyle" in the UPA 2009 International Conference student design competition in Portland, OR
(May 7, 2009) An electronic waste event, organized by Kristin Hanks and Laura Knudsen diverted 830,000 pounds of e-waste from our landfills. 330 surveys taken at the event will be analyzed for future publication.
